We designed Miles for Meals to feel like more than just an app—it’s a movement you can hold in your hand.
Our challenge was to combine the drive of sport with the empathy of storytelling. The visual identity needed to motivate runners with the energy of an athletic brand, while also staying rooted in the warmth and humanity of the cause. We created a brand system and digital experience that balances clarity and emotion: bold and motivating on the outside, intimate and human once you step inside the experience. The app design itself was built around simplicity and flow—making participation feel effortless, so that the focus stays on running and the stories that inspire each step.
Design turned participation into purpose.
By giving Miles for Meals a clear, inspiring identity and a seamless user experience, we helped transform a charity run into a global call for action. The brand attracts not only the existing Mary’s Meals community but also a new wave of socially conscious runners who want their training to have meaning beyond themselves. The app encourages repeat participation, creates a personal connection between runners and the children they support, and lays the foundation for a movement with the potential to grow far beyond its origins—fueling bodies, stories, and futures with every run.
